Patty is a senior majoring in Forestry at one of Canada's premier Universities.  As part of her final year she applies for a summer internship with the Department of Parks and Wildlife's Firewatch team.  The program's team leader turns out to be a man with firm ideas and expectations.  The selection process is rigorous.  In spite of herself, Patty has what it takes to make the cut.
